Summer has arrived and all the kids of the band Dirty Riches have plans

Eliza wants to get Rocco to fall in love with her, but he just wants to have sex with as many girls as possible. In fact, he and Ethan appear to be in competition for biggest manwhore of the summer. Rocco’s younger sister, Gigi also has sex on her mind because she wants to lose her virginity. Shame the guy she has in mind isn’t the best choice. Hendrix, Eliza’s, brother is a model who only has eyes for his girlfriend who he wants to Netflix and Chill with for the next six weeks. Then there’s Lessie and Matilda, who as usual are joined at the hip trying to find ways to make some money. Rafa and Hettie, want to spend the time practicing kissing so that they literally don’t suck at it! And finally, Jackson and Harrison two of the youngest. Well, they’re happy playing footy and having fun.

So, everyone has their summer planned out.

But when your dads are in a world-famous band, things don’t always go to plan.

Sometimes you have to step up and take the stage.

Hold on for a fun ride.

Fans of the Rock Stars Don’t Like series are going to love this book. Not only do you get the usual banter from your favourite rockers, but their kids too. There’s love, laughs and heartache in Snake Bandit and you’re going to love every minute of it.

QUICK INTERVIEW

What part of the book did you have the hardest time writing?
“The hardest part of the book to write was the scene with Gigi and Drayton in the hotel room. I have never experienced anything like that, but knew it had to be written correctly to ensure it had the right impact.”

What part of the book was the most fun to write?
“The whole of the book was fun to write. I loved writing the banter between the characters. The whole dynamic of the parents versus the kids, kids versus the kids and parents versus the parents was highly entertaining for me.”

What inspired the idea for your book?
“The book was inspired by my FB group, Ashton’s Angels. There are a lot of Dirty Riches fans in there, so for a treat I decided to write the kids story.”

How did you come up with the title for your book?
“One of my friends and reader, Lynsey Austin-Goddard thought of it. She kept getting Skins, the drummer’s name, wrong and thought he was called Snake Bandit and so the title was born!”

Who is your favorite character and why?
“I love all the characters but I think Jake is my favourite parent and Eliza and Lessie are my favourite of the kids. Jake because he has no filter, Eliza because she’s a sweet soul and Lessie because she’s smart and feisty for her age.”

How long did it take you to write this book?
“It took 30 weeks because I wrote it as a chapter a week which I then sent to each member of my FB group. Almost a year later, I decided to publish it, so once I’d pulled all the chapters together it went through the normal editing and proof reading process, which took about 4 weeks.”

If you’re planning a sequel, can you share a tiny bit about your plans for it?
“I haven’t thought about a sequel because I think the epilogue pretty much ties everything up. However, Dirty Riches are so popular, who knows? I may do a novella in the future.”

How would you describe your book’s ideal reader?
“The ideal reader for this book would be someone who likes banter, enjoys a giggle and loves a rockstar.”

BOOK REVIEW

Another awesome book by Nikki Ashton. Her writing is amazing in every way. I was hooked from the first chapter even though I haven’t read any of the previous books in the series. Snake Bandit gave me the craving to read more from the Dirty Riches/ Rock Stars Don’t Like… Series.

Snake Bandit is based on the lives of the children from the Dirty Riches band. Readers that have read the previous books will have a better idea about the band members.

Rocco, Ethan, Eliza. Gigi, Hendrix, and the rest of the children had their whole summer planned, but for some of them, their plans had to change according to their parents. Their parents are planning a charity event and they have to help.

New friendships and relationships were built, but some were almost completely destroyed.

Plans can change at any moment in your life. Sometimes it is better to wait and see what happens.

Snake Bandit is well-written, funny, and has emotional scenes. You can read it as a stand-alone and it is worth every minute of your time.

Definitely a MUST READ !!!!
